  2. 1) When comparing Method and Approach what stands out is the main goal which is LEARNING, but when contrasting we can state that Approach is a set of correlative assumptions about the nature of language and learning. Meanwhile, a Method is a plan for presenting the language material to be learned and shoulf be based upon a selected approach( Natural Approach or Comprehension Based Approach).
    2) No,technique can be the most and/or the least important thing. We may use stealth, speed, or engage with people(or not). We may use a combination of them. Method and technique are means to an end. They need the correct approach and work in the same direction in order to reach our ultimate goal.
    3) Yes, our teaching philosophy is an incredible tool that can help us as educators reach our full potential, personal and professional growth these come form high standards, an open mind, and self-reflection. In order to give our best we need to consider that a system of methods or principles, and rules for regulating our teaching that works hand by hand with our philosophy will only optimize our work.

    1. Well done, Karina; I am very glad you have a very clear perception of what a teaching philosophy is, and how it is applied in the teaching process. I totally agree when you state "In order to give our best, we need to consider that a system of methods, principles, and rules for regulating our teaching that works hand by hand with our philosophy will only optimize our work", which in other words, it represents the importance of the process of continuous improvement.

    2. Completely agree with my peer on her perspective on what is a method and approach and that the most important in both is achieving that students learn. Now I have also learned and would like to add that an approach is student centered and that a method is teacher center and that is the biggest difference.
